Here at Clearleft we’ve been taking small steps to reduce our environmental impact. In December 2018 we covered the roof of our home – 68 Middle Street – with solar panels.
That got us thinking how much of our power is generated through these solar panels and what environmental impact they’ve made.
trees worth of CO2 emissions saved
current power measured against our peak solar capacity
Thanks to the API from our solar panel provider, we can visualise this data in real time. We look forward to watching a whole virtual forest grow from our rooftop.
This is just one of our small environmental steps. We also make our UX London lanyards out of recycled ocean plastic, we use green cleaning companies, and we have a much-loved cycle to work scheme. On that note, group cycle anyone?
